Tasting Note
This 2013 is a brilliant, clear, pale yellow colour with silver highlights.
The nose is lovely and fresh, revealing overtones of white flowers (acacia), apricot, peach, citrus (grapefruit), and honey. This wine successfully reflects Pessac-Leognan's great gravelly terroir. It is smooth and well-balanced on the palate, with a host of flavours (apricot, peach, citron, and a slight saltiness on the finish). Exceedingly fresh, this 2013 provides great pleasure and is in its element with seafood, fish, and cheeses.
