Grape variety: Merlot 50%, Cabernet Sauvignon 50%
Good depth of color, the wine is a deep black ruby color. On the nose, the wine reveals toasted oak notes along with fresh black fruits accompanied by plum and blackcurrant undertones as it opens in the glass. Medium-bodied, it is smooth, complex with a good concentration of soft, ripe, rich fruit with additional hints of blackcurrant, toast and liquorice. It has a well-balanced acidity, which counterbalances a firm tannic structure. Overall it is more a more classic elegant style and less powerful then other years with impeccably balance and good length. 94 Points. JKW04/17
