Tasting Note: Very dark and concentrated and tinged with crimson. The intense bouquet offers notes of black berry fruits, underscored by an elegant underlayer of oak. Fleshy on the palate, the wine is generous and concentrated, underscored by prominent, silky tannins. Enormous potential for this Pey La Tour Réserve, which culminates in a lengthy, very full-flavoured finish.

Grape Variety: 87% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Soil: Clay-limestone; small pebbles held in clay and sandy-clay.
Vinification: Alcoholic fermentation- normal and steady alcoholic fermentation, in stainlessteel vats; pigeage for some vats. Total vatting 20 to 28 days.
Ageing: 12 months in French oak barrels.
Residual sugar: 0.73g/100ml.
