Tasting Note: Intense pale gold colour with green reflections. Aromas of citrus fruits, white flowers and fern, with a hint of minerality. In the mouth, this wine is rich, generous and very well-balanced with a long, intense finish.
Food Matching: Goes remarkably well with fish in creamy sauce, lobster, oysters, foie gras, white meats.
Grape variety: 100% Chardonnay.
Geology: The Climat Bougros is based on soils composed of layers of limestone and clayey marls containing marine fossils, on a South exposure. It is located West, on the steepest slopes of the Chablis Grand Cru vineyard.
Harvest: Manuel harvest with grape sorting before the vinification.
Vinification: Traditional fermentation and maturation in oak barrels for 12 months, with complete malolactic fermentation.
