1.Louis Max Hautes Cotes de Nuits (2016)
"Excellent" by Bill Nanson, Burgundy critic
The vineyards of the the Hautes Côtes-de-Nuits cover the well-exposed slopes of the hills that dominate the 'Côte' at an average altitude of between 300 and 400 metres. The soils are a mix of stones, clay and limestone.
The Hautes-Côtes vineyard covers very well exposed hillsides situated around 400m in altitude. The soils are stony, clayey overlying limestone patches.
Manual harvest with grape sorting before the vinification and full destemming of the grapes. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks, with a slight maturation in oak barrel.
Cristal clear dark red cherry color.
Intense aromas of fresh red berries, with elegant notes of spices Lively in the mouth, with a good tannic structure and an elegant, persistent finish.
Pairs well with all meals, but especially with strong tasting meats, like small game meat. Also pairs perfectly with mildly strong cheeses.
Wine to be served around 16°C.
This wine is ready to drink, but will benefit from an ageing of 2 to 4 years.
2.Louis Max Beaucharme Pinot Noir (2013)
Burgundy region is the mother of the Pinot Noir, the most delicate grape for red wines in the world.
All the highest red wines in Burgundy are made with Pinot Noir, the exclusiv red grape for Burgundy.
Production of Bourgogne Pinot Noir is principally centred in the three adjacent departments of Yonne to the North of Côte d’Or and to the south of the Saône et Loire.
Grape Variety 100% Pinot Noir
Colour: Brilliant cherry red.
Nose: Red fruit aromas, cherry, kirsch with notions of lime and mint.
Palate: A plump wine with a lot of fruit and a delicate note of wood. Good persistence, harmonious and well balanced.
Ageing: It will keep five years in a wine cellar and ten years with all the necessary conditions for keeping wine.
To be served: between 14 °C and 16°C. You may open the bottle an hour before serving it.
Food Pairing: Grilled or roasted red meats, poultry and cheese.

Tasting Note
Deep ruby red color, very brilliant and pure. Fresh fruits aromas in the nose, with a subtle vanilla and oak touch. In the mouth, a very well-balanced wine, with smooth tannins and a spicy note.
Food Matching:Pairs well with red meats grilled or in sauce, delicate poultry dishes and exotic foods. Can also be served with strong cheeses.
WINEMAKING: Manual harvest with grape sorting before the vinification and destemming of half the grapes. Traditional fermentation in wooden tank, maturation in oak barrels for 18 months

4.Louis Max Beaucharme Chardonnay (2015)
This wine is made from several vineyards spread all over Burgundy This blend combines the complexity of the Côte d’Or and the generous fruit flavors from the Côte Chalonnaise and the Maconnais. The vines are conducted using the Guyot pruning, which permits a strict yield control. The soils are rich in limestone, where Chardonnay thrives.

FOOD PAIRING : White meats in sauce, grilled fish and seafood platters.

5.Louis Max Rhone Blanc. Lyre (2016)
The vineyard spreads over slopes, at an ideal altitude. While it benefits from a very sunny climate, it still remains fresh thanks to the neighboring Massif Central Mountains. The soil is limestone clay and stony, typical of the Côtes-du-Rhône. This wine is certified organic by Ecocert.
GRAPE VARIETIES :Grenache blanc, Ugni blanc, Viognier
WINE TASTING : Beautiful pale yellow colour, with green hints. Aromas of pear and citrus fruits, with subtle notes of white flowers. Well-balanced and very fruity, this wine is fresh and lively.
FOOD PAIRING : Ideal with seafood, grilled fishes and poultries in cream sauce.
SERVICE TEMPERATURE AND AGEING :Wine to be served at 12°C / 54°F. This wine ready to drink, it can be kept for 4 years.
6.Louis Max Rhone Rouge. Dom Lyre (2015)
The Domaine la Lyre is located in the heart of the Pouzilhac terroir, near the charming village of Uzes and the Pont du Gard in the South of France. The vineyard spreads over slopes, at an ideal altitude. While it benefits from a very sunny climate, it still remains fresh thanks to the neighboring Massif Central Mountains.The domaine is grown organically and certified by Ecocert.
GRAPE VARIETIES : Syrah, Grenache
The grapes are harvested only when they achieve perfect maturity, then they are carefully sorted and fully destemmed before the fermentation. Fermentation in concrete vats for 20 days. Ageing in concrete vats for around 6 months.
Deep dark red color. Nice aromas of small red and black fruits (strawberry, raspberry, blackberry) and floral notes of jasmine, and peony. Powerful yet elegant, it is a full-bodied wine with good, smooth tannins.
FOOD PAIRING : Goes well with red meats in sauce, game stew, roasted poultries and cheeses of character like Camembert or Blue Cheese
SERVICE TEMPERATURE AND AGEING :Wine to be served at 15°C / 59°F.
