New condition of delivery and handling fees
As you all know from the latest news, the costs for delivery in Japan, especially for temperature controlled cargo has increased dramatically over the last 24 months. Up until now Pieroth Japan has absorbed this increase on behalf of the customer and not changed the policy of surcharges.
To ensure the high quality of our wines as well as the delivery process, we need to change the rules for surcharges charged on orders delivered in the future.
As of May 11, 2015 for all private customer orders a handling and delivery charge of JPY 1,000 (no tax) applies.
We ask you for your understanding of these changes as the quality not only of our wines, but also the logistic to our final customer has been and will always be our priority.
We thank you for your loyalty and support, and encourage you to place orders before this new delivery policy takes effect.

Let Us Introduce Our Chef of World Wine Bar by Pieroth Kagurazaka
Pieroth Japan now own 9 World Wine Bars. Kagurazaka shop that just opened last month has the concept “experience France in Tokyo,” and we welcomed Mr. Marc Bonnard as the Executive Chef.
～About Mr. Marc Bonnard ～
He is from a small town called Nyon located in Northern Provence, famous for cultivation of olives.
Mr. Bonnard finished culinary school at the age 16, then he worked at the prestigious Michelin star winning hotels such as La Cardinale and Hotel de Crillon. After gaining abundant experience, he came to Japan in 1994.
In Japan, he worked at Hotel de Mikuni, Niki Club, and Restaurant Pachon.
From 2001, he worked at Brasserie Le Cordon Bleu for 6 years, then he taught at Le Cordon Bleu Daikanyama School for 5 years.
Please enjoy the menu that possess originality and authentic essence extracted from abundant experience of the chef, and enjoy the marriage with our wines.
