Tasting Notes
Dark ruby red in color. The complex nose features deep, fresh fruit aromas recalling such as blueberries, strawberries, and sour cherries along with floral notes recalling violets. The palate echoes the nose with fruity, floral flavors along with licorice over a backdrop of very predominant structure in which the Petit Verdot plays an importatnt role. This is a muscular wine with acidity accentuated by the potent tannins that are put to the test at the table, ideally with red meats. Tremendous persistence and an elegant finish.
Food Pairing: Roasts and grilled meats.
