Deep color, impressive with a firm rim structure. Complex and integrated nose with floral, spice and black currant overtones. Full body, the wine is opulent and elegant with a solid core of ripe mouth coating fruit supported by firm tannins and a balanced acidity. Additional toast and oak accents on the palate but all in all well integrated. It all comes together on a long lingering finish. All in all well crafted for the vintage. 91 points JKW04/13
