Capo Zafferano is a small promontory stretching out in the Tyrrhenian Sea.
On the shore of the promontory are opened some caves that have restored the bones of Elephas mnaidriensis together with lithic materials of the Upper Paleolithic and ceramic fragments resembling the Culture of Castelluccio. One of the first mention of the promontory, whose etymology is attributable to the ufarān arab, is due to Camillo Camilliani in 1584.
The Capo Zafferano’s wines are a good expression of native grapes which come from the mediterranean cradle.
The vineyard has always been in the heart of man, a generous, rich and long-lived plant.
Every bloom it delivers unique, unique perfumes, colors and emotions. The best grapes are selected to ensure a true representation of south of Italy.
