Alta means High in terms of quality. Our Alta range is the highest in concentration we can get in a single varietal wine made with grapes from our state in Barrancas, Maipu. Mendoza
Its color is intense purple with violet reflections, almost black. High aromatic intensity with ripe plum notes, flowers such as violet and mint that provides a refreshing note. Its smoke is balanced with fruity notes. Sweet attack, present body with clear acidity and ripe tannins. Tobacco and caramel very well integrated denote their passage through the barrel. Great aging potential. Its excellent concentration provides a prolonged persistence that mixes fruits and smoked. It combines with long cooked meats, creamy risottos, pastas with complex sauces and hard cheeses.

Vinification: Hand-picked selection in small baskets.
The vineyard is carefully managed in order to obtain grapes best potential. Cold maceration takes place before fermentation for 48 hours.
Winemaking process is carried out in stainless steel tanks and macerated from 15 to 20 days.
Ageing: The wine is aged in new French Oak Barrels for 14 months.
Fining & filtration: To obtain its maximum expression, wine is softly filtered before being bottled. Once is bottled, it remains 6 months in our controlled temperature cellar, before release.

This fine wine is produced using grapes grown in our own estate located in Las Barrancas, Maipu. This zone is considered one of the best wine-growing areas in Mendoza, well known for its climate and soil. Cold maceration takes place before fermentation for 48hours. The winemaking process is carried out in stainless steel tanks and macerated for 15 to 20days.
40% of the wine is matured in American Oak Barrels for 12 months, in order to accomplish its structure.
FINING & FILTRATION;
Prior to bottling, wine is filtered. This process allows the wine having a bright appearance.

Clean and fruitful in the nose. Its aroma reminds of plum and quince, with a little touch of elegant oak. The mouth has a mild bouquet, blackberry and licorice fruit.Thick and burly. Rich and long finish with smoky accents of vanilla and lingering oak.
Enjoy it with pasta, red and white meats in light cream sauces.
