Tasting Note: Fragrant gooseberry, greengage plums and a hint of tropical fruit. A full flavoured medium-bodied wine, with a clean flinsh and showing an abundance of regional flavours.

Terroir: Wairau Valley. Southern Valleys Awatere Valley.

Geology: Ancient Glacial Soils.
Harvest: The fruit was machine harvested in cool evening conditions.
Vinification: Pressed immediately with minimal skin contact. After settling, the clear juice was fermented at very low temperatures with selected yeast strains to preserve the inherent varietal flavours. The wine was fermented entirely in stainless steel.
Aging: no wood, stainless steel.
Acidity: 6.8g/L.
PH: 3.14.
Residual sugar: 3.7g/L.
